On December 22, CPPCC Huadu District Committee organized its members to carry out an inspection activity on how to build Huadu District into an integrated demonstration zone of "Internet + agriculture” with e-commerce as focus to help the digital development of agriculture in Huadu. Li Xiaodong, District governor, Chen Jiafei, the chairman of the District CPPCC, Cai Qiliang, the vice chairman of the District CPPCC, Li Rongyu, the vice chairman of the district CPPCC, and some members of the CPPCC and heads of relevant departments visited Guangzhou Aiqinwan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Jinhua Food Co., Ltd. to understand the sales and development of agricultural e-commerce in detail.

　　In recent years, Huadu District has actively implemented the strategy of "prospering agriculture through science and technology", built a "Internet plus agricultural industrial park", vigorously promoted the deep integration of Internet digital technology and agriculture to accelerate the construction of "digital garden" and intelligent "workshop agriculture” and develop intelligent planting. In 2021, Huadu established the first rural e-commerce industrial park of Guangzhou. At the end of the year, the "Internet + agriculture" industrial park of Huadu District was included in the creation list of provincial modern agriculture industrial parks, forming an "Internet + agriculture" ecological system with high concentration of talent, science and technology, institutions and other elements and resources for building an integrated demonstration zone of "Internet + agriculture".

　　At a symposium, Cai Qiliang said that the relevant departments should raise their level of understanding, insist on putting the development of "Internet plus agriculture" industry in a more prominent position. The relevant departments should highlight the key points, practically promote the construction of the provincial industrial park of "Internet plus Agriculture", focus on the construction of the "three systems" for rural e-commerce supply chain, sales chain and talent chain, and create the "five clouds" system, vigorously promote the brand popularity of Huadu's characteristic agricultural products, broaden the online sales channels of agricultural products, cultivate outstanding talent team of rural e-commerce, so that more enterprises and farmers can benefit from it.

　　Chen Jiafei said that to accelerate the construction of the "Internet plus Agriculture" integrated demonstration zone focusing on e-commerce, three tasks should be done: First, lay a solid foundation for the development of characteristic industries, vigorously develop advantaged-characteristic agriculture such as bonsai, flowers and fishing seedlings, and extend to agricultural product processing and leisure agriculture and tourism, so as to expand the development road of "Internet + agriculture" integrated demonstration zone. Second, promote the transformation and upgrading of agricultural industries, accelerate the construction of information infrastructure, accelerate the in-depth application of modern information technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data and artificial intelligence in agricultural production, focus on cultivating and growing a number of large "Internet + agriculture" leading enterprises and professional cooperatives in agricultural industrialization, and form a cluster of enterprises with strong market competitiveness. Third, strengthen the cultivation and training of professional personnel, establish a talent cultivation system that combines college education with practical training, and vigorously cultivate talents in short supply for "Internet plus agriculture". At the same time, government functional departments should further improve supporting policies and systems for the development of rural e-commerce and digital agriculture, and CPPCC organs should give full play to the role of special consultation institutions, mobilize the enthusiasm of all consultation subjects and CPPCC members to participate, and jointly create a new situation of "Internet plus agriculture" integrated demonstration zone.
